Are you a health conscious parent looking to improve your family’s diet? By the end of this six session program, you will feel confident and creative in choosing and preparing healthy, seasonal foods for you and your family. You will learn to distinguish between foods that energize your loved ones and foods that drain their bodies and brains and play a role in negative attitudes and behaviors. In addition to learning to create balanced menu plans, you will learn a few effective strategies for balancing both work and family responsibilities. You will incorporate play, a form of self-nourishment that often is missing from a parent’s priority lists. This adventure in mindful eating will shift you, your partner and your children into a healthier lifestyle collectively. (7 sessions * 1hr for 1-2 people * 1.5 hrs for 3-4 people)

Nourishing New Mamas Series
Are you pregnant or breastfeeding, but unsure about what foods you should be eating to nourish you and your baby? This four session series will help you to incorporate nutrient-dense, whole foods into your diet that will increase your energy and improve your mood. We will address how to include healthy, high-quality foods such as greens, properly-prepared whole grains, good fats and sustainable sources of protein to prepare your body for birth and breastfeeding, or to rebuild it after your little one arrives. You will also have the opportunity to discuss ways to incorporate more self-nourishment, balance and play into your daily routine as a new mom. Includes handouts, one 1.5 hour evaluation, and three 1 hour sessions.
